• Extra time, then penalties if necessary. Standard (not golden goal) - two 15 minute periods followed by shootout

  • If Players are found “restarting” or replaying games to avoid shootout it will result in tournament disqualification 

• Team: Players decide

• $15 Tournament Entry

  • Includes 2 hours of time on OS NYC account to be used later

  • We will have free play stations open, with friendlies open after the first round of the tournament kicks off. Don’t worry, everyone will get multiple games in!

About this Event

On Saturday, March 21st, Community Gaming is hosting the 3rd installment of Battle for NYC, a CS:GO Tournament Series to find the best players in the New York City area!

*FORMAT*

5v5 Double Elimination, Best of 3 Tournament.

The Tournament will feature a $1000 Prize Pool sponsored by Allstar, an exciting new startup co-founded by former CS pro Nick "anTs" Cuomo.

Hey, Panda Global's SKD here. After our successful PG x OS Anime Monthlies, I'm excited to bring you a Bi-Weekly series for Granblue Fantasy Versus, run to the quality standards that you know and love me for (thanks!). That means everybody getting their own monitor, 3.5mm plug for sound (bring your own headset, or rent one at the venue), and my wonderful, monotone voice coming through the speaker system.

I had always dreamed of a seamless local experience. Awesome location, no logistic hassles, well accommodated, a space that I just love being in, and luckily OS Studios has partnered with us to bring you just that.

I also run our Anime Monthly here, which features BBTAG, UNI, and DBFZ. The monthly also features Granblue, but in a more limited capacity as I want to make sure, above all else, that the tournament and event experience itself goes off without a hitch. If you'd like to focus on GBVS, this is for you.

I have enough setups to have GBVS casuals running all day, so even if you don't come for tournament, it's still worth checking out. Don't let those nerves stop you!

If you would love to grind, crack out, get hype, or comfortably watch some high level matches for GBVS, this is the place to be!

I'd like to make clear that our event is time-slotted for 12-7. While the venue normally charges an hourly rate for console use, when coming in for tournament your $10 Venue fee will cover the seven hour window we have, after which they will charge the normal hourly rate. So come early, and get those games in for cheap! Hopefully we can swing something all day for you guys down the line, I'm keeping it in mind!
